🔥 MONDAY RELEASE: Defending Crosses

If your team struggles to deal with crosses, second balls, or protecting the box under pressure, today’s release, Session 979, gives you a clear defensive framework to fix it.

This new drop includes three practices and a complete session designed to improve first contact, reactions to second balls, communication inside the box, and composure in realistic wide-attacking scenarios.

Each practice works as a standalone solution - or combine all three into the full session for a complete defensive session.

👇 New Practices Released:

1️⃣ Fun Heading Competition | WU-45
2️⃣ Defending the Box Under Pressure | 58-P8
3️⃣ Protecting the Box from Wide Attacks | 58-P11

The Biggest Problem in Youth Football is...? 👇

Salim ATTYÉ You can use different sessions (from other weeks) each day of your training week. You will need to mix and match these sessions based on your teams needs.

🔵 Monday – Technical Focus (Low–Moderate Intensity)Focus on the main technical theme (e.g., progressing through thirds, body shape, combinations).

High repetition, low pressure.

Coaching detail and corrections.

Finish with light conditioned possession linked to the theme.

🔵 Tuesday – Tactical Development (Higher Intensity)

Add opposition and decision-making.

Emphasise timing of movement, positioning, and game realism.

Include constraints that force players to progress through the thirds correctly.

🔵 Thursday – Game Realism (This is where you can add Progressing Through the 3rds session)Replicate match scenarios.

Condition the game around progressing through the thirds.

Add scoring incentives linked to the week’s objective.

🔵 Friday – Match Preparation (Short, Sharp, Competitive)Keep intensity sharp but duration shorter.

Absolutely 👏

Hi Salim ATTYÉ , apologies only catching your message now. Just to clarify, do you mean you have 10 players training? If you have 4 days to train per week, then I would suggest using 4 different sessions based on your teams needs (3 practices per day) and then recycle these each week.
