💪 Pressing as a Unit (433) | 10-P14

Ready to level up your team's defensive pressing? This 11 v 11 practice on a full pitch is designed to develop your players' ability to apply coordinated defensive pressure. To start, the coach initiates a 3 v 3 attack versus defence scenario. If the defenders win possession, they transition the ball into the middle zone for a 7 v 7 battle. In this phase, the defending fullbacks (Red 2 and 3) must press high, working with the team to regain possession. If they succeed, they counter quickly, with an extra player joining to create a 4 v 3 attacking overload in the final zone. Coaches have the flexibility to restart play in either the first or middle zone, introducing different scenarios for players to navigate. Get your team mastering high-pressure situations and rapid transitions with this comprehensive practice! 💪⚽️

🎉 End Zone Game | Mini Ballers P42

Ignite your mini ballers' passion with this small-sided game designed to sharpen their movement and finishing skills! We create two 5-yard end zones on either side of the area, with a central area for a 5 v 5 match. The goal is for the team in possession to combine passes and play through to runners who receive the ball in the end zones and finish unopposed in the mini goal. Defenders are restricted from entering the end zones when the attacker receives the ball but can retrieve it if the pass is misdirected or deflected. The team that scores the most goals within the set period wins. This dynamic practice enhances players' movement, passing accuracy, and finishing accuracy , ensuring they stay fully engaged and excited throughout the session! 💪⚽️

🎯 3 V 3 Accuracy Game | 92-P3

This engaging game is designed to enhance players' ability to maintain possession and finish with precision! We have a 3 v 3 setup in the central area, with the objective that every player must touch the ball before finishing in the goal between the cones. Goals only count if they stay below cone height and enter the goal, even if they hit the cones. To keep the game intense, the coach restarts play quickly whenever the ball leaves the circle or a goal is scored. This dynamic practice is perfect for sharpening passing, teamwork, and finishing skills! 🎉⚽️

⚽️ 🔁 Score and Back Game | 86-P2

Looking to enhance your players' dribbling, running, and finishing skills? This fun, dynamic practice will keep everyone engaged and on their toes. Players start by dribbling around the first area, waiting for the coach's call. When a number is called, the three players assigned to that number must break out, dribble through the middle zone, and finish in any mini goal. A missed goal means they’re out and must run behind the goal to collect balls. Scoring players retrieve their ball and rejoin the initial dribbling zone, ready for the next challenge. This practice helps players build confidence in their dribbling, identify open spaces, and drive towards the goal with determination! 🔥⚽️

🔲 The Shapes Game | Mini Ballers P38

This engaging Mini Ballers practice introduces the concept of shapes in a fun passing exercise. We mark out various areas, each with different shapes and sizes. Players will pass within the shape for a set period, until you call for them to move to a different shape. Each team must keep count of their passes within each shape, and the team with the most passes after a full round wins the exercise. This practice combines fun and learning, helping young players improve their passing skills while enjoying the game! 🎉

👀 Scanning and Dribbling | Warm Up (WU-36)

This beginner practice focuses on developing players' scanning ability when receiving and driving with the ball. One player acts as the receiver, and the other as the defender. The receiver moves forward to receive a pass from the coach, with the defender following behind. As the coach passes the ball, the receiver must scan to see which direction the defender has committed to and then drive the ball around the opposite mannequin to finish in any of the mini goals. A simple yet effective practice to develop one of the most important aspects of the game!

🔥 Combinations to Penetrate and Finish | 82-P4

This technical finishing practice is designed to develop quick combinations around the box, creating goal-scoring opportunities. There are two attacking sequences working in opposite directions: one culminates with a finish past the goalkeeper, while the other ends with a finish in the mini goal. After each sequence, players rotate positions, allowing them to experience every role in the attack. To increase the challenge, a second phase can be added, with coaches delivering crosses from wide for the winger and striker to finish. Your attacking players will love this dynamic practice! 💪⚽️

↘️ Technical Switches of Play | 83-P4

This technical practice focuses on developing players' ability to switch play effectively. Players will work through a set sequence, combining with short passes before switching play to a teammate making a wide run. The player closest to the receiver will apply passive pressure, challenging the receiver to take a quality first touch to evade them. Two progressions increase the challenge: introducing a second ball and incorporating longer, more direct switches. Mastering these skills is essential for any team looking to dominate possession and exploit space!🔥⚽️
