🎉 1 V 1's and Finishing | 86-P1

It's time to work on our players finishing and ability to beat defenders in 1 v 1's in this technical practice. We have two linked areas in this practice. In the first area, players will go up against defenders in  1 v 1’s , with the objective to finish in either mini goal. If they finish, they can move to the 2nd area in this practice where they will receive a set from the coach and finish past the goalkeeper on one or two touches. Developing individual skill such as feints, step overs etc. to beat defenders and accuracy and composure when finishing are key points in this one. Let's turn chances into goals! 🔥⚽️

⚽️ Triangle Passing Combinations | 61-P2

Short sharp passing is key to playing out in tight areas or when looking to keep possession in other parts of the field. This simple practice focuses on developing players passing and moving within a triangle setup. 3 players will move between the outside cones, creating angles for support and keeping possession away from the pressing defender. Movement to create good passing angles, passing accuracy and communication are key to excelling in this one! ⚽️🔥

🔥 Defending the Switch of Play | 39-P13

How well do your defenders react to a switch of play? Are they able to get into position quickly to defend the cross? These are the key aspects that will be focused on in this advanced lead practice. We have two areas that will run simultaneously, needing players to be switched on to maintain the flow and level of the practice. Defenders must press and cover as a pair, focus on getting first contact on the wide deliveries and adjust their positioning based on the flight of the ball. Let's build our defensive solidity! 💪

🎉 Technical Passing & 1 v 1 Defending | 68-P3

Let's take a look at how we can develop our teams technical passing ability, speed and 1 v 1 defending in this practice. We have two main areas in this practice. Firstly, we have the technical passing combination involving 1-2 combinations and sets. Simultaneously, a defender will sprint to touch the cones and enter the playing area to defend the goal. Defenders body shape and distances are key to winning possession while attackers must focus on using sharp movements and individual skill to beat the defender and finish! ⚽️💪
