Yes Adam McGowan , I like this! You could even add calls/signals to let the player on the ball (9 in this example) know which way the defender presses so they know what action to perform. That way you keep players engaged and always changing based on the signals. 💪

Goals win games...and finishing accuracy is improved in both game based practices and finishing specific drills. If you have GK's available, you can add them to the practice to increase the challenge for the attackers. You can also decrease the size of the finishing zones, forcing attackers to create space to finish in tighter areas. Adapt the practice as you need 💪⚽️
