The continuous flow of the drill ensures that players stay engaged, developing their ability to maintain possession and execute sharp, purposeful passes under pressure. This pre-season practice is designed to boost your team's speed endurance and small-sided gameplay. Players are divided into two teams, each starting in opposite corners of the field.
The session begins with endurance runs, following specific speed intervals: 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80% along designated sides of the area. On the coach's call, a 7 v 7 game is triggered with a ball fed randomly to one team. After two balls have been used (resetting after a goal or when the ball exits play), players get a recovery period before starting their next run.
