It's time to activate our players this Monday with this technical passing practice. Working both sides at the same time, players will combine on one and two touches in this sequence, testing their ability to play well weighted and accurate passes. Ensure players are taking good directional first touches where necessary and are keeping the ball close when dribbling down the centre of the area. We have added two progressions to keep your players engaged throughout this one! ⚽️

3 Player Finishing Combinat...
It's time to challenge our players forward passing and support play in this lead game with a twist. Here's the twist: There are two assist zones on each end of the box that will score teams two goals if they provide the delivery from these areas. Attacking players must recognise when teammates are entering these zones, providing support through attacking runs into the box to ensure they have options when delivering. Let's get our attackers firing fro match day! 🔥⚽️

Attacking in the Final Thir...
Putting the ball in the back of the net is still the most important aspect of the game. This high intensity circuit is perfect for getting your players working at speed and finishing from different angles. We can add a passive defender to increase the pressure on attackers, allowing them to practice movements they would use to beat defenders in a game. Hitting the corners when finishing, close control when dribbling around the mannequins and passing weight & accuracy are key to excelling in this one. 🫡⚽️

Finishing & Speed Circuit |...
Do you setup in a 343 diamond? This technical practice is perfect for getting you players comfortable combining when playing in this formation. Players will follow their pass, getting the chance to move and combine in each of the different positions in this practice. Passing quality, communication and playing passes on one and two touch are key to excelling in this practice. 💎⚽️

343 Diamond Technical Passi...
Do your players recognise when to overlap, and are they timing these movements correctly? This technical practice focuses on this specific aspect of their game. Players will pair up, passing the ball to their partner and executing an overlapping run to receive the return pass. Precision in the timing of movements is key here, as poorly timed runs can diminish the effectiveness of this tactic in a real game. Let’s build confidence when making the overlapping run! ⚽️

Developing Overlapping Runs...
In this small-sided game we're focusing on possession, quick reactions, and defending as a cohesive unit. The goal for the team in possession is simple: make five passes and then look to finish in either of the two goals. Here's the twist: After a goal is scored, any player from the scoring team can quickly retrieve a ball from any corner. If they can score in the other goal within just 10 seconds, they earn a bonus goal. Positional awareness, communication and clinical finishing are key in this one! 🫡

Switching Point of Attack (...
This advanced lead practice focuses on build up play, positioning and combinations when setup in two of the most popular formations, the 433 and the 442. With each unit starting in a separate zones, teams need to display good movement and intelligent play to break down the opposition defence. One supporting player can enter another third of the field at a time. Attackers can enter the wide channels at all times, while the defending team can only press in these zones if the attackers are in possession. A great practice to keep players thinking, combining quickly and exploiting space to create scoring opportunities! 🙌

11 v 11: 433 v 442 | Advanc...
Get ready for a game that sharpens your team's reaction to second balls, focuses on positional awareness, and puts decision-making at the forefront, both in and out of possession. We've got four teams with three players that have their own mini goal to protect. Each team's goal has a limited life of 3 points. We'll deduct a point each time a goal is conceded. If a team concedes 3 goals, they're out, and their goal disappears. The last team with their goal standing are the winners! 🔥
