🎉 Transitional Rondo | 88-P5

This transitional rondo focuses on pressing to regain, maintaining possession and exploiting numerical overloads. We have three zones, each with different overload scenarios, with the primary goal for the team in possession to break lines and advance to the next zone. The central players are tasked with seamless combination play, aiming to advance the ball and ultimately connect with the designated floater in the third zone, earning them a goal. Let's refine our players pressing, possession, and tactical decision-making skills, fostering a well-rounded and adept team ready for the challenges on the field! 🔥⚽️

🔥 2 v 2 Pressing Game | 59-P9
Do your players need help to co-ordinate their pressing? This practice focuses on developing this aspect of the game using 2 v 2 scenarios. Defenders must wait until the ball enters their zone to press quickly, working together to force direction and make interceptions to finish in the mini goals. Once players have worked a few rounds, we can increase the intensity of the press by lowering the amount of passes needed to switch play. Let's get our players winning possession! 🔥⚽️

🎉 Pass, Set and Move | 84-P5

Let's get our players activated with this excellent technical passing combination! Players will work through the sequence, playing sharp one and two touch passes, setting the ball for teammates and timing their movements to receive. Once players are getting into a good flow, we can introduce 1-2 combinations to increase the amount of passes in the sequence. 💪⚽️

⚽️ Dribbling & Finishing Circuit | 76-P2

This technical circuit focuses on developing dribbling, passing and finishing. Players will dribble between the poles, pass to team-mates and finally dribble through the cones and finish in a 1 v 1 with the GK. We have added a progression to incorporate 1-2's, increasing the amount of passes played in the circuit and increasing the need for concentration throughout the circuit. Let's develop strong technical foundations for our players! 🙌⚽️

🎉 1st Touch, Passing and Fitness | 84-P1

Developing strong technical foundations are key to improving our players overall game. This practice focuses on this, specifically looking at players 1st touch and passing & volleying accuracy. We setup by splitting players into groups of three, with one player from each group starting in the centre as the working player. Working at a high intensity in the central area and receiving with an open body shape to turn out quickly are key to excelling in this practice. 💪⚽️

⚽️ Build from the Back (433) | 28-P10

It's time to develop our teams confidence and ability to build play from the back in this phase of play practice. Our teams first objective is to beat the 1st line of the press and play into the floater who switches play into either wide zone. Attackers must then beat the defenders in the 2 v 2 using individual skill, quick combination play and teamwork to finish in the mini goals. Developing high quality press beating passing in the 1st phase of play can create great advantages for our team further up the field! 💪⚽️

This practice focuses on developing phase 1 - building out from the back when setup in a 4231. Attackers are restricted to their zones to start, with the objective to play into the target player to set the ball back for a finish in either of the two mini goals. We can progress to bring in rotations and unrestricted movement for the attackers, encouraging them to combine in different ways when building out from the back. Passing quality and off the ball movement are key to excelling in this practice! 🔥⚽️

🔥 Defend the Goal 1 v 1 | 60-P1

How comfortable are your players defending 1 v 1? Do they understand the technical principles involved in defending these scenarios? This simple technical practice will work on these aspects of defending. We have a 1 v 1 defending zone, with the primary objective for the defender to get tight to the attacker and stop them from turning. If the defender wins possession, blocks the shot on goal or forces the attacker out of the zone, they are awarded with a point. 🔥⚽️
