How do you work on your central midfielders receiving the ball on the half turn and how would you adapt this practice?

Hi Sheri Branum it will honestly depend on your teams strengths and weaknesses in and out of possession and if you think you can impose yourselves on them more than they can on you.

Generally in a 433 against a 4-4-2 diamond you will get joy with your attacking full backs either side creating 2 v 1 overloads in the attacking third. You may lose ground centrally, but to counter this get your striker to stop any passes out from the back into their deep midfielder by shielding this pass.
