Normally the defensive transition that is the issue.. They have no problem all wanting to get on the ball near goal to finish, less keen to race back to stop a goal being scored!

Great to hear Eric Engleby definitely just as useful with more players. Be interesting to see if you just allowed free play for them to find their own way, or more structure with game like formations added?

Both daughters involved in different teams which means swaps between us parents every week. Both doing really well in their respective teams. One is more emotional than the other, but they love playing and are making big strides so couldn’t ask for much more. The are twins with one a few inches bigger than the other so patience and focus on maturation is something we are fully aware of. 👍

With regards to setting up your full season plan, you could use some of the U8 season plan which will definitely be helpful. There will be elements that you need to tweak for the younger ones but you can definitely get a head start there.
