It all depends on the group you are coaching, some may need to repeat a session in a week and others may need variation. You can always mix and match certain practices from the plan to suit you and your players needs 🙌

⚽️ Pre-Season 93: Agility, Passing and Finishing Circuit

This pre-season practice is designed to develop your players' agility, passing, and dribbling to finish.

Players will navigate through the circuit, moving through agility ladders and hurdles to enhance quick footwork and speed. They will then engage in precise passing and receiving drills to sharpen their ball control and accuracy. The circuit culminates with the striker executing a show-and-go move, dribbling around a pole, and finishing with a shot past the goalkeeper.

This dynamic session ensures players stay energised, focused, and ready for the challenges of the new season.🔥⚽️

🔥 Pre-Season 92: SAQ Races & Small Sided Games

This pre-season practice is designed to enhance Speed, Agility, Quickness (SAQ), endurance, and small-sided gameplay.

One player from each team will race against each other through the circuit. After the agility drills, players race into the game zone, with the first player to arrive receiving the ball and engaging in a 1 v 1 game. The match continues until a goal is scored or the ball goes out of play. As more players reach the zone, the game evolves into 2 v 2, 3 v 3, 4 v 4, and eventually a 5 v 5 game.

This dynamic practice not only boosts physical fitness but also sharpens competitive edge and team coordination, perfect for getting your squad ready for the season ahead! 🔥⚽️

🎉 Pre-Season 91: Possession, Agility and Endurance

This pre-season practice is designed to boost possession skills, agility, and endurance. The session is divided into three main areas:

  1. 6 V 2 Possession Game: Focus on maintaining control and strategic passing.

  2. Outside Agility Circuit: Enhance quickness and coordination.

  3. Goalkeeper Exercises: Improve shot-stopping and reaction times.

Players will work for 90 seconds in each area before switching roles, with a 30-60 second rest in between. In the possession game, the goal is for the team to complete 10 passes, allowing 2 players to break out and finish past the goalkeeper, while 1 defender attempts to recover. If the defenders win possession, they aim to score in any mini goal. After every 90-second set, defenders switch out with players in the agility circuit. After three sets, teams rotate roles, ensuring a comprehensive workout for everyone. This practice promises a high-energy, engaging session that will sharpen your team's skills and stamina!
