🔥 High Press Wave Game | 25-P8

Develop your team's pressing game with this dynamic wave practice! Designed to develop cohesive pressing, quick transitions, and effective counter-attacks, this drill divides players into four groups of three, with goals and goalkeepers on each end. One team starts in possession, while the other presses high to regain control and launch a counter-attack. Each round, teams switch roles, keeping intensity and engagement high as they seamlessly move between attacking and defending. Rotate groups every few rounds to introduce new challenges and keep players focused on teamwork and quick decision-making. We have 5 progressions to increase and balance challenge for the pressing team, keeping your players engaged throughout the practice. 🙌⚽️

Session 724 focuses on developing the high press, a crucial aspect of the modern game. The session is suitable for players aged 15 and above and requires a larger group of 20 players, including goalkeepers. Practice 1 is a defensive warm up, activating players agility and reaction speed for the high intensity session. Practice 2 is rondo based, focusing on our defender's pressing as a cohesive unit. Practice 3 is a small sided game that rewards the pressing team with an extra goal if they are able to win possession in the opponent's half and finish.🔥⚽️
