Hi there, this is my squads first season playing 11v11, any ideas of where to start when it comes to session planning for these boys. Or does anyone care to share some drills that are not over complicated to begin with.

🔥 NEW RELEASE: Develop Turning Technique!

If your players struggle to turn under pressure, lack confidence on the ball, or avoid tight situations, today’s release is built to change that.

Session 983: Develop Turning Technique focuses on improving close control, balance, and confidence when receiving and turning in tight areas. Players are encouraged to be brave, protect the ball, and accelerate away from pressure in realistic, game-based situations.

The session progresses from a fun, high-energy activation, into 1v1 turning under pressure, and finishes with a small-sided game that rewards players for turning and attacking with intent.

Suitable for U8+ (minimum 8 players), with each practice working individually or as part of the full session.

👇 New Practices Released:

1️⃣ Portal Game | Mini Ballers P61
2️⃣ Turn and Attack | Mini Ballers P62
3️⃣ Turn to Score (SSG) | Mini Ballers P63

🔥 Full Session:
Session 983: Develop Turning Technique

A perfect session to build confident, creative players who can turn, protect, and attack with purpose. 💪

🔥 MONDAY RELEASE: Defending Crosses

If your team struggles to deal with crosses, second balls, or protecting the box under pressure, today’s release, Session 979, gives you a clear defensive framework to fix it.

This new drop includes three practices and a complete session designed to improve first contact, reactions to second balls, communication inside the box, and composure in realistic wide-attacking scenarios.

Each practice works as a standalone solution - or combine all three into the full session for a complete defensive session.

👇 New Practices Released:

1️⃣ Fun Heading Competition | WU-45
2️⃣ Defending the Box Under Pressure | 58-P8
3️⃣ Protecting the Box from Wide Attacks | 58-P11
