Depending on Age Group and Level Bob Barnhart. For say Under 14s, decent level I would go for a 30 long by 20 wide, which would mean each area would be a 15 x 10 yards which gives ample challenge and allows players to build and rotate when required.

Hi Reed Hall with 60 players to be honest, we would break them out into some Small Sided Games. With your numbers do you have the space to set up 6 Small Sided Games (5 v 5)? if you do I would go down this route so you can take a closer look at players in a small game situation (individual skills, defending ability etc.) before going into 3 x 11 x 11 games. This is in an ideal situation with space and 1-2 coaches on each pitch. Without this, you may need to break into 4-6 different zones and have a few different exercises that cover.1. Passing technical 2. Rondos (Small Possession)3. 2 v 2 Games (Waves)4. Movement specific (Speed / Turns)5. Dribbling, Turns (Touch Focus)6. Finishing with GKsThis might take some organising but I have seen this done really well in a small space (single 11 v 11 pitch - 6 grids) and 1/2 coaches in each zone. Let me know if this helps. I'm sure there are many practices you can select from and with a bit more time I may be able to send some across. 💪
