Hi Craig, I’ll start this one off! I did my badges a while ago now and only wish I had a platform like this to help me. This is in fact one of the main reasons I wanted to build something like Touchtight to help the many coaches who found themselves in the same position. I remember searching the internet and purchasing a booklet that had A and B Licence practice sessions in it because there was literally nothing online to help. Fast forward 8 years and now there is more than enough for coaches to view online, and now the problem becomes filtering through the mess.

I’m sure there are many coaches that are using the platform to help with coach delivery of key coaching points, practice set up and individual and unit challenges and progressions. I think one of our users mentioned that they use the filters to find the appropriate level of content, put some of the practices together in their own plan and use the mobile app as a nice refresher. Thanks Carlos, probably an area where we could get more content with more than 18 players to be honest but we can definitely put something together here. Thinking 1. Passing / Technical… 2. Opposed Game/Skill. 3. Phase of Play 11 v 11. ?

Love that.. great detail Logan! This is exactly what we are looking at. Good to hear that you use the desktop to search and find relevant videos and then the app to view content as prepping the session, exactly as I have done it to refresh beforehand. That’s seems like quite a consistent pattern moving from unopposed to semi to opposes or larger Function or Phase.. We’re also looking at whole-part-whole again which can be useful. What age group do you coach and what player numbers and topics are a main focus atm? I can the try to put something together around this over the next few weeks.

Hi everyone, just to let people know we are gradually filling up our filters for Formations, Positions, Units, Training Days and Coach Difficulty. This should be complete for practices by next week before moving on to sessions. Again thanks for helping with the decisions on these, hopefully will be a helpful feature. 🤞👍
