This practice develops our players speed, endurance and game ability. We have 4 players ( 2 pairs ) sprinting around the cones racing to be the 1st to enter the game zone and start with possession. Players will play 2 v 2 until a goal is scored or the ball goes out of play. If the next 4 players arrive to the game zone and the ball is still in play, we progress to play 4 v 4 adding a new dynamic for our players to work through. Let's put in the work in Pre-Season! 💪🔥
It's time to develop players' speed, agility and quickness in this pre-season practice. In this circuit, we have added game elements such as crossing and finishing to enhance players game feel while also increasing their overall fitness levels. We will work one side to start, with the next two players starting soon after keeping a good flow and intensity to the practice. Ensure players are playing well weighted passes out wide and attacking the deliveries at pace. 💪

This pre-season practice has two zones to focus on different skills. In Zone 1, we'll work on maintaining possession under pressure and Zone 2 will have a circuit to enhance agility and speed. Here's the setup: We have 4 teams of 3 players each, with two teams in each zone. The goal is to maintain a high-intensity level for 3-4 minutes before switching zones. This way, players get to experience both ball work and off-the-ball movements. Remember, putting in the effort during pre-season will pay off later on! 🤝

This physical based practice focuses on developing sprint speed, heading ability and 1 v 1 games. The action kicks off with the first two players sprinting around the two poles and back. Then, they dash around the poles again, but this time, they set off towards the diagonal goal. From the sideline, their teammate throws a ball into the air for them to perform a diving header to finish. Both players react quickly to sprint towards the center of the area where you pass a ball inside for them battle it out in a 1 v 1 scenario, aiming to finish. Sprint speed, precision, and competitive spirit are the order of the day! ⚽️ 🔥
