How do your players fair with the rotational progressions on this one?

How would you adapt this for your groups? I've done this with 10 players and had 3 sets of 2 on the outside and it ran ok...

Practice 1: We tried this and players finished the practice too quickly. So we ended up saying that players have to create 3 rows in order to win. We played best out of five and all players enjoyed it. Manage the competition though, a few feisty ones!
